Posting on Your Profile
When an employer or a client searches your name online, what will they find? Will they see a confident and approachable individual? There are obviously many things you can post about or share which other users will use to form an opinion of you. So generally speaking, you should follow the below rules to keep your profile showing your best side.
- Keep plans and private content in your direct messages, not on your public profile.
- No explicit content!
- Post at popular usage times for facebook users (in the morning before work or when they first get home from work).
- Keep your opinions to yourself. Don’t post or share anything which may offend others.
- Endorse other users as much as you can. Congratulate them on their achievements and offer condolences through their hardship.
- Show your achievements, and show them regularly. Offer frequent updates on what you’re working on to hook users and keep them checking your profile.
